Speaking about places,
prepositions "в" and "на".
People like to ask to each other: "Where are you (now)?"/"Where have you been (yesterday)?" In Russian this questions sounds like "Где ты (сейчас)?"/ "Где ты был (вчера)?" And people ask another questions: "Where is my phone?" - "Где мой телефон?", "Where is my bag?" - "Где моя сумка?", "Where are my glasses?" - "Где мои очки?". You can answer questions with где using the Prepositional Case (which can be used to show location).
